Mac OS X Tip of the Week: Creating Smaller PDF’s: "Creating a PDF on a Mac is simple. Choose Print from the File menu. Click the PDF button. And choose the Save as PDF option. To create a smaller PDF than this method will yield, you can opt to choose Compress PDF instead of Save as PDF. There’s yet another way to create a smaller PDF, and that’s revealed on our Mac OS X Tip of the Week site."
