One More Take on Apple's iPod Hi-Fi

Have you yet heard the new iPod Hi-Fi? If not, you're in for a real surprise! Apple's claims for room-filling, brilliant and rich sound are not far from the mark. At US $350.00 it had better be good, but in most respects Apple has truly delivered. Like most excellent speaker systems, one surprise (both good and unfortunate) will be the revelation of the quality of your recordings, mostly in their engineering. What does that mean? Quite simply, the well-engineered recordings sound fantastic! You'll likely hear things you never knew were there. And the not-so-well engineered recordings? They sound, well, not so well-engineered. You owe it to yourself to make a trip to the closest Apple store and give the iPod Hi-Fi a listen. Warning: be prepared to stay a while!
