Devon releases new remote desktop solution

Devon releases new remote desktop solution: "DEVONtechnologies today announced Desktop Transporter 2.0, a remote desktop solution that allows users to use other Macs on either the local network or the Internet without physically accessing them..."

Looks like something Mac IT people would love. Anyone try any products from this company? They're new to me. And can you do this transport thing over the internet? I'll let you know when I find out.

To answer my own question from my earlier comment, it looks like Transporter is limited to local area networks when I read Devon's website, but MacMinute makes it sound like it works with either local networks or the internet. Maybe you just need toknwo the IP address. Hmmm... if anyone tries it....
