Wouldn't this be cool?! -TG

Digital newspapers by 2008?: "Imagine unfurling the morning paper to find a flexible electronic display streaming the latest news. This fantasy could become a reality in as soon as two years."

And, I believe it is Sony who has developed some kind of flexible display with "e-ink" - black and white pixels that create a very good reading experience. Can't recall if it's available in the U.S. yet or only in Japan. Not much content available for it - yet.

From wherever it comes, this technology would actually make me interested in a newspaper subscription again. Imagine, a "newspaper" that could dynamically update content throuhout the day as one passed from one wireless access point to another! (This is also free as advertising from LOCAL vendors will stream to the device embedded in placeholders within the text of the news)
